Hi, I'm Kate.

I’m a London-based photographer with a passion for storytelling. Growing up in a family of journalists, I’ve always been drawn to narratives and felt compelled to share people’s stories. For me, it’s not just about the final image – it’s the process of uncovering the stories that lie beneath the surface. Through this approach, I use my photography to learn more about the world around me and share those insights with others.

Ever since I picked up my first film camera in my high school photography class, I’ve been capturing the things I love most: the colours and textures of food, the vastness of the outdoors, the quiet drama of adventure, and natural, honest human moments. Whether I’m documenting a fleeting moment or someone’s lifelong vocation, my goal is to create work that resonates and inspires.

I have a deep reverence for water, which drives me to protect it, and this drive now fuels much of my personal work. My ongoing project, Coventina: Stories of Women and Water, explores women’s relationship with water and their deep connection to this essential element. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me by the water, whether it’s a wild swim, a coastal walk, or clearing my head doing laps at London Fields.

Fun Fact: In our spare time, my partner and I are walking sections of the South Downs Way this year in preparation for a 100km trek through the Yucatán Peninsula in December!
